The Maharashtra Cabinet on Tuesday approved the report of the Maharashtra Backward Class Commission saying the Maratha community is a socially and educationally backward class and should get 10 per cent reservation in education and government jobs. Maharashtra govt will introduce a bill in the special assembly session Tuesday to grant 10% quota to Marathas in govt jobs and education, sources said.
