Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day. Protests by opposition parties over the Hindenburg Research’s report on Adani Group and other issues continued to disrupt the proceedings in both Houses of Parliament for the second consecutive day on Friday.
When the Lok Sabha met after the first adjournment at 2 PM, the scene was no different. Opposition members including Congress, DMK and TMC again trooped into the well, shouting slogans demanding Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the matter. The Presiding Officer urged the members to allow the House to take the scheduled business but the protesting members did not pay heed, leading to adjournment of the House for the day.
